Apogee to install Wi-Fi at University Towers

Austin's Apogee is expanding its niche business of delivering high-speed Internet access to college students.

The Austin-based company is providing an extensive Wi-Fi service that it calls wall-to-wall wireless access to the University Towers apartments west of the UT campus next fall. It extends wireless Internet access throughout the complex, supplementing the complex's wired Internet service.

Apogee delivers on-campus Internet access at three colleges, Birmingham Southern in Alabama, Ithaca College in New York and Southwestern University in Georgetown. It delivers off-campus access at UT and Florida State University.
